We would like to share with you the following information:
- We have arranged with the Editors of JNNFM for the publication of a special issue in JNNFM of works presented during the Conference.
The tentative deadline for paper submission to this special issue will be October 31st, 2025.
- We would appreciate it if you could bring the event to the attention of young researchers (Master's students, PhD students, early stage post-docs)
in your group. In particular, for graduate students who wish to attend the Meeting but they do not have sufficient funds from their research grants,
there is the option to apply to the Organizing Committee for financial support (to cover their trip to Syros plus their hotel expenses during the Meeting).
So, feel free to forward this information to them asking to send a formal request by March 15 to the following email address: hsr2025@aegean.gr.
In their application, the graduate student should explain the situation (why he/she needs support) and he/she should also include a supporting letter
from the advisor. Priority will be given to graduate students who plan to contribute to the special JNNFM issue.
- Prospective participants who need some more time to secure funds to attend the meeting and feel that they cannot meet the abstract submission deadline
(February 28th, 2025), please do not hesitate to contact us asking for an extension. We are flexible on this!
- As you know, on the days prior to HSR 2025 (June 8-11), the 2025 International Workshop of Non Equilibrium Thermodynamics (IWNET-2025) will take place
at the same venue honoring Prof. Miroslav Grmela. Prof. Miroslav Grmela has informed us that he will stay in Syros also for the HSR-2025 event,
so we hope for some good synergy between the two events.
