11th Hellenic Society of Rheology conference (HSR 2025)

The meeting is organized by the Hellenic Society of Rheology (HSR), in cooperation with the University of the Aegean and the University of Patras.
The purpose of HSR 2025 is to give the chance to researchers from academic, industrial, and other
institutions who are active in the general field of rheology and transport phenomena
to present their latest research work in the field (experimental, numerical, modeling and simulation),
to discuss new challenges and directions, and to pursue new collaborations.
It is a unique opportunity, especially for young researchers (e.g., PhDs) who have just started their
career in the fascinating science of rheology
(Τα πάντα ρει, μηδέποτε κατά τ' αυτό μένειν)
to present their progress and first achievements.
HSR 2025 will feature as a honored scientist Professor
Masao Doi
whose monumental contributions in the field of polymer dynamics and rheology over the years have
shaped the field.
Please also note that on the days before HSR 2025, the
10th International Workshop on Non Equilibrium Thermodynamics (IWNET 2025) will also take place in Syros (June 8-11, 2025),
at exactly the same place.
IWNET 2025 will feature as a honored scientist Prof.
Miroslav Grmela whose pioneering contributions have revolutionized and shaped the field of Non Equilibrium Thermodynamics.
