Syros can be reached either by plane or by ferry:
By plane
There are daily flights from Athens airport(40 minutes) by
Sky Express.

From airport El. Venizelos to port of Piraues: 6 ways
By ferry
During summer there is a frequent daily schedule of ferries leaving from Piraeus and the trip takes between 2-4 hours depending on the ferry.
Several companies go to Syros, the most known are Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways.
From the port the simplest way to get to the conference site is to take a taxi to Dolphin Bay Resort (about 8 Km or 5 miles).
